Becky Lynn Smith

Funeral services for Becky Lynn Smith will be held Sunday, August 18, 2024 at 2 p.m. from McClain-Hays Chapel with Rev. Ronnie Malone officiating. Burial will follow in North Bend Pentecostal Cemetery. Visitation will be held Saturday, August 17, 2024 from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at McClain-Hays Funeral Home. Ms. Smith, 66, of Preston died Thursday, August 15, 2024. Becky was a native of Neshoba County and attended Lynville School and Kemper Academy. She loved sewing and spending time with her family especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Ms. Smith was raised in North Bend Pentecostal Church. Survivors include daughters, April Holmes of Philadelphia and Serena Berry of Union; son, Jimmy Novick Smith of Philadelphia; grandchildren, Cain Smith, Kaleb Holmes, Jachob Holmes, Bradley Smith, Dustyn Smith, Danielle Reid, Cammie Dempsey, Dominie Spencer, Isaac Brooks, Willie Smith, Maddox Miles and Grayson Miles; nine great-grandchildren; sisters, Rachel Malone of DeKalb and Roxie Richardson of Preston; a host of nieces and nephews. Ms. Smith was preceded in death by husband, Willie James Smith; parents, Carl “Buddy” and Loridia Williams; sons, Buddy Smith and Josh Smith; and four sisters. Pallbearers, Dustyn Smith, Kaleb Homes, Bradley Smith, Cain Smith, Morris Mariner and Allen McDonald. Honorary Pallbearers, Jachob Homes, Brodie McKee, Corbin McKee and Charlie Daugherty.
