Services for Annie Ruth Covington will be held Wednesday, June 26, 2019, at 10 a. m. from Holy Rosary Catholic Church with Father Bob Goodyear officiating. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 25, 2019, from 6 until 8 p.m. at Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Rosary will be held at 7 p.m. Interment will be in Holy Rosary Catholic Cemetery. McClain-Hays Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Ms. Covington, 84, of Decatur, died Monday, June 24, 2019, at Neshoba County General Nursing Home. She was a native of Neshoba County and longtime resident of Tucker Community. She retired as a certified nurse assistant after working 28 years at Neshoba General Hospital. Mrs. Covington was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Survivors include daughter, Tammie Addy (Joe) of Decatur, MS; son, Rockie Stewart (Jan) of Philadelphia; five grandchildren, Rockie Stewart, Jr., (Catherine), Chris Stewart, Olivia Marble (Jeremy), Michael Addy (Courtney) and Camilla Addy; four great-grandchildren, James Stewart, Tessa Stewart, Chloe Stewart and Harper Marble; sister, Jean Collins of Leonard, TX; a host of nieces, nephews, and their families. Ms. Covington was preceded in death by parents; three sisters; and seven brothers. Pallbearers are Rockie Stewart, Rockie Stewart, Jr., Chris Stewart, Joe Addy, Michael Addy, and Jeremy Marble. In lieu of flowers, family requests memorials be made to Holy Rosary Catholic Church, or a favorite charity.
