Services for Annie Maurine Brown will be held Monday, October 15, 2018, at 10 a.m. from McClain-Hays Chapel with Rev. Allen Dees officiating. Burial will follow in Mars Hill Cemetery in Winston County. Visitation will be held Sunday, October 14, 2018 from 3 p.m. until 6 p.m. at McClain-Hays Funeral Home. McClain-Hays Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Brown, 80, of Philadelphia, died Saturday, October 13, 2018.She was a native of the Zion Community of Attalla County. After she married she became a resident of the Arlington Community of Neshoba County. Mrs. Brown was a member of White Oak Baptist Church in Neshoba County. Survivors include daughter, Belinda (Jay) Allen of Fulton; son, Shane Brown of Philadelphia; grandchildren, Emma Grace Allen, Mollianne Allen, and Levi Brown; sister, Lois Slay of Philadelphia; and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Winford Brown; sister, Sue Townsend. Pallbearers are Mike Snow, Mikey Bane, Kenny Granberry, Jackson Breazeale, Dewayne Breazeale, and Kevin Baysinger. Honorary pallbearers are Joe Brown, Michael Brown, and David Thomas.
