Annie Marie Johnson

Private services for the family only will be held Tuesday, March 24, 2020, at 11:00 a. m. from McClain-Hays Chapel with Rev. Neil Chadwick and Rev. Ed Keen officiating. Interment will follow in Bloomfield Cemetery in Neshoba County. McClain-Hays Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Johnson, 70, of Philadelphia, died Sunday, March 22, 2020. She was a native and lifelong resident of Neshoba County and worked as a cook for various restaurants until she retired in 1994. Mrs. Johnson was a member of Rock Creek Baptist Church in Union. Survivors include three daughters, Melissa Goodwin (Chris) of Lauderdale, Tina Jones (Joe) of Philadelphia, and Denise Skinner (Shannon) of Union; 14 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; special cousin and sister at heart, Mary Ann Peebles of Philadelphia; and a host of nieces and nephews. Mrs. Johnson was preceded in death by husband, Charles Johnson; one son, Kenneth Thompson; parents, Hickman and Annie Lee Anderson; brothers, James and Edward Anderson.
