Allen W. Boler

Funeral services for Allen Boler will be held Wednesday, November 8, 2023 at 10 a.m. from Neshoba Baptist Church with Bro. Byron Howell officiating. Burial will follow in Neshoba Baptist Cemetery. Visitation will be held Wednesday, November 8, 2023 from 9 a.m. until service time at Neshoba Baptist Church. McClain-Hays Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Boler, 99, of Neshoba, died Monday, November 6, 2023. Mr. Allen was a native and lifelong resident of Neshoba County and graduated from Union High School in 1943. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Navy and served during WWII in the Pacific Theater, after returning home he attended ECCC. He was a farmer first and wore several hats as a carpenter, plumber, electrician and anything anyone needed. In his early years he enjoyed fishing and hunting. Mr. Boler was a member of Neshoba Baptist Church all his life and served as a deacon and received the title of Deacon Emeritus. Survivors include wife of 73 years, Oleta Boler of Union; son, Allen “Al” Boler, Jr. (Sandra) of Union; son-in-law, Jeff Goree (Martha) of Columbia, AL; grandchildren, Anthony Boler, Michael Boler, Jason Boler, Christopher Boler, Chad Goree and John Allen Goree; 10 great-grandchildren; a host of niece and nephews. Mr. Boler was preceded in death by daughter, Christy Boler Goree; parents, Colin and Biddie Boler; sisters, Clarice Crenshaw, Ida Kate Massey and Hilda Germany; brother, Glen Boler. Pallbearers, Michael Boler, Jason Boler, John Allen Goree, Calbe Boler, Clyde Easterling and James Lang. Honorary Pallbearer, Dwight Pilgrim.
