Alinda Joyce Goss

Services for Alinda Joyce Goss will be held Friday, July 26, 2019, at 11 a.m. from McClain-Hays Chapel with Bro. Scott Boatner officiating.  Burial will follow in Eastlawn Cemetery.  Visitation will be held Friday from 9 a. m. until time of service at McClain-Hays Funeral Home.  McClain-Hays Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Ms. Goss, 64, of Philadelphia, died Monday, July 22, 2019. She was a native of Union, MS, and a graduate of Union High School.  She was employed at W. G. Yates & Sons Construction Company as the corporate secretary for the past 47 years. Survivors include her daughter, Amanda Joy (Chet) Hailey of Louisville; son, Jonathan Glenn (Kim) Goss of Philadelphia; grandchildren, Alicia Aspiazu, Hagan Hailey, Emily Caroline Goss, Jonathan Clayton Goss; three brothers, Jimmy (Bertha) Darby, Edward Darby, and Steve Darby, all of Union; one niece, Shauna Renee Hedgepeth; and one nephew, Justin Lee Darby. Ms. Goss was preceded in death by her daughter, Melanie Goss; and mother, Joyce Darby.
