Al Byars

Graveside services for Mr. Al Byars will be held Friday, January 10, 2020 at 11 a.m. at Old Pearl Valley Cemetery with Rev. Scott Boatner officiating.  Mr. Byars, 65, died Tuesday, January 7, 2020. Mr. Byars loved growing and canning a variety of fresh vegetables and riding motorcycles on trips, even as far as The Smokey Mountains.  He was an avid rabbit hunter and loved his beloved pack of beagles, he even considered rabbit hunting his job after retiring.  He also loved watching his grandson play baseball and football. Survived by his son, Bradley Byars; grandson, Remington Guage “Boogie” Byars; sisters, Betty Byars, Linda McCrory and Carolyn Hicks. Preceded in death by his parents, Allison Lloyd Byars, Sr (Buck) and Lorene Jones Byars.
