Aaron Morris Presley

Graveside services for Morris Presley will be held Saturday, July 13, 2019, at 3 p.m. at Eastlawn Cemetery with Rev. Jackie Barker and Dr. Wayne Hill officiating.  Visitation will be held Saturday, July 13, 2019 at McClain-Hays Funeral Home beginning at 1 p.m.  McClain-Hays is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Presley , 80, of Philadelphia, died Thursday, July 11, 2019 at his home. He was a native of Ellison Ridge Community of Winston County and a longtime resident of Jackson, MS and moved to Neshoba County in the late 80’s.  He retired initially from Jackson Fire Department.  He served as Building Inspector for the City of Philadelphia and later served as director of Philadelphia Utilities Water Department until his final retirement.  Mr. Presley was a member of Mt. Nelson Baptist Church and former member and past president of  West Jackson Exchange Club and Moose Lodge 1426 of West Jackson. Survived by his wife Martha Presley of Philadelphia; son, David Presley (Renee) of Harrisville, MS; daughter, Denise Gray (Jimmy) of Philadelphia; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by his son, Aaron Presley; parents, Everett and Minnie Mae Presley; siblings, Johnny Presley, Bonnie Waddell and Syble Ferguson.
