JERRY BISHOP Mr. Oliver Bounds, 89, died Friday, December 17, 2010 at his residence.   He was a native of Neshoba County and a long time resident of the Linwood Community.  He worked for Sunflower Grocery for 31 years until his retirement as manager.  Mr. Bounds was a member of Linwood Baptist Church where he was an ordained deacon and a Sunday School teacher.  He served in the U.S. Army during WWII and was awarded the Purple Heart.  He was a member of DAV and VFW.   Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Annie Lois Bounds of Philadelphia; son, Mitchell Bounds of Philadelphia; daughters, Judy Jones of Brandon and Janice Sistrunk of Philadelphia; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and their families.
