She was a native and lifelong resident of Neshoba County.  Mrs. Fortenberry was Baptist by faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Fortenberry, Sr. and her daughter, Gail F. House. Survivors include her daughter, Ann Hall Porter of Terry; sons, Buddy Fortenberry and his wife, Brenda of Philadelphia and Tim Fortenberry and his wife, Vickie of Booneville; grandchildren, Cindy Davidson, Jay Fortenberry, James Michael Hall, Jeff Fortenberry and Josh Fortenberry; great-grandchildren, Colton James Davidson, James Tyler Hall, James Clayton Fortenberry, Evie Fortenberry, and Jackson Fortenberry; sisters, Amy Latimer of Philadelphia and Inez Phillips and her husband, Ray of Laurel and a host of nieces and nephews.
