INTERMENT: CEDARLAWN CEMETERYOFFICIATING:  REV. HOWELL THRASH Mrs. Jones, 93, of Philadelphia, died Sunday, October 31, 2010 at Hospice in His Hands in Leake County.   She was a native and long time resident of Neshoba County.  She was a retired seamstress and formerly worked at Midland Shirt Factory in Union and Nemanco in Philadelphia.  Mrs. Jones was a member of New Pleasantdale Baptist Church where she served as church pianist for several years.  She loved playing the piano all her life and was pianist for many church singings through the years and was the pianist for the Young at Heart Washboard Band.   Mrs. Jones was preceded in death by her husbands, E.J. "Shine" Kirby and Hubert Jones; sisters, Jewell Smith, Bernice Smith, and Dorothy White; and brothers, Henry Skinner, Ellis Skinner, and Bruce Skinner.   Survivors include son, Don Kirby of Philadelphia; sister, Florette Harrell of Brandon; granddaughters, Denise Tubby, Sara West and Diana Cherry;  eight great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and their families.
