John Richard "Richie" Clark

BERT JONESREV. JAMES MADDOX  Mr. Richie Clark, 38, died Friday, September 17, 2010 at University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson. He was a native of the Good Hope Community of Neshoba County.  He graduated from Neshoba Central High School in 1990 and attended East Central Community College.  He was a resident of the Nanih Waiya area of Winston County and was Baptist by faith.  He had worked in construction, harvested catfish ponds and had served as a paramedic in Neshoba, Winston and Lauderdale Counties.  He had served as law enforcement officer for Philadelphia Police Department, Kemper County Sheriff's Office and East Mississippi Drug Task Force and had served as volunteer fireman for Linwood Fire Department.   Survivors include his wife, Angie Clark; daughters, Makinsie Clark and Ashley Clark, all of Nanih Waiya; parents, Randy and Judy Clark; grandmother, Odessa "Mutt" Clark; sister, Catina Clark; brother, Eric Clark, all of Philadelphia and numerous nieces and nephews.  Extended family members include Angie's parents, E.J. and Johnnie Green of Preston; brother-in-law, Wayne Green of Louisville; sister-in-law, Agnes Fleming of Louisville and their families.
