JOHN STODGHILLINTERMENT: MORROW CEMETERYDIXON COMMUNITY OF NESHOBA COUNTY Mrs. Helen Lofton Stodghill, 81, went to her heavenly home on Sunday, August 8, 2010 at Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland. She was a native of the Dixon Community of Neshoba County and a long time resident of Jackson. She moved back to Neshoba County in 1992. She was a member of Dixon Presbyterian Church and attended Alta Woods Presbyterian Church while living in Jackson. Mrs. Stodghill, an avid golfer, was former member and club champion of Brookwood Country Club and Philadelphia Country Club and Women's State Amateur Champion in 1977. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Stodghill in March 2010; and brothers, Earl Lofton and Andy Lofton. Survivors include daughters, Debbie Lott of Meridian, Donna Spooner and her husband, Wade of Madison, and Dinah Kennedy and her husband, Jim of Madison; grandchildren, Frank Stodghill Rader, Melissa Hill and her husband, Wright, Ashley McGlaun, Melissa Ebner, Kyle Smith, and Wesley Spooner; great-grandchildren; Dillon Rader, Braden Rader, Jakob McGlaun, Marley Grace McGlaun, Chandler Welgos, Jaden Ebner, Ashton Espinoza, Camryn Spooner, and Rivers Spooner; sisters, Kathleen Kemp of Noxapater and Lynn Anthony of Philadelphia; brothers, Cotton Lofton of Hattiesburg, Pat Lofton of Laurel, and Kermit Lofton of Madden; and a host of nieces, nephews, and their families.Memorials may be made to St. Dominic Foundation benefiting the MS Heart Institute, 969 Lakeland Drive, Jackson, MS 39216 or your favorite charity.
