RUSTY WALTON Mrs. Mamie Burnett, 102, of Union, died Thursday, May 13, 2010 at J.G. Alexander Nursing Center in Union.   She was a native and longtime resident of the House Community of Neshoba County.  She formerly worked at Mississippi State Hospital, Whitfield, Masonic Home in Meridian, and Laird Hospital in Union.  Mrs. Burnett was a lifelong member of Pine Grove Baptist Church.   She was preceded in death by her husband, L.L. "Doc" Burnett; daughter, Jean Turner; four sisters; and three brothers.   Survivors include grandson, Jim Turner and his wife, Tere of Madison; great-grandson, Erik Turner; and numerous nieces, nephews, and their families.
