PISGAH CEMETERYIn memory and celebration of the life of Tammy Luke Lisenbee.  Devoted wife, beloved mother, cherished sister, and blessed daughter.  Tammy was many things to many people.Born in Louisville, MS, on January 12, 1960, she was the daughter of Faye Price Luke and the late Jerry Luke.  She entered into the Joy of her Master at 10:23 p. m., May 9, 2010, at University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock, AR.She attended Noxapater High School and enjoyed many activities and accomplished numerous academic honors.  She continued her education at East Central Community College in Decatur, MS, where she graduated with honors and extracurricular awards.  Tammy began her career at Mississippi State University where she met her husband of 28 years, David E. Lisenbee of Kilmichael, MS.  After moving to Laurel, MS, they had two blessed children, SSgt. Robert Tyler Lisenbee and Lauren Taylor Lisenbee.  Son Tyler is a staff sergeant in the USAF and married to Megan.  Daughter Lauren is a senior nursing student at UAMS.Tammy and David eventually settled in Heber Springs, AR where she was employed with the Heber Springs School District as a substitute teacher for 13 years and recently at the Heber Springs Sheriff's Office as a Deputy Clerk.  Tammy was a truly dedicated servant of God.  She was the Sparks director of Awana Clubs.  Tammy's godly talent with children touched so many young lives with her unselfish devotion.Her hobbies included horseback riding, hunting, fishing, cross-stitching, knitting, and creating cherished memories with her family including diving in the Bahamas, cruising the Caribbean, skiing in New Mexico, exploring the Smoky Mountains, enjoying the parks in Branson, shopping and theater in Las Vegas, London, Key West, New York, Cancun, Boca Raton, New Orleans, just to name a few.She was preceded in death by her father Jerry Luke.  She is survived by her husband, David; son, Tyler and his wife, Megan; daughter, Lauren; mother, Faye Luke; brother, Rick Luke; sister, Jammy Hemphill; sister-in-law, Brenda Smith and husband Palmer; brother-in-law, Larry Lisenbee and wife Lucille; and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and many, many cherished friends."Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth...But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven...For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also."  Matthew 6:19-21
