Jewel Richardson

Memorial services for Jewel D. Richardson will be held at a later date.  Mrs. Richardson, 86, died Friday, April 23, 2010 at Choctaw Residential Center.    Mrs. Richardson was a native of the Burnside Community in Neshoba County but lived in Edinburg for several years before moving to Parchman, MS where she and her husband retired as prison guards from the state penitentiary.   She was preceded in death by her husband, Hugh Richardson.   Survivors include daughters, Belinda Algood of Carthage and Judy Smith of Philadelphia; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
