T. J. "Jerry" Bishop

"Jerry"  Bishop, 68, of Newton, died Wednesday, April 7, 2010 at Anderson Regional Medical Center in Meridian.   He was a native and long time resident of Newton County.  Mr. Bishop was a retired mobile home contractor/rebuilder from Rose Mobile Homes in Hickory. He was Pentecostal by faith.   Mr. Bishop was preceded in death by his father, George E. "Bunt" Bishop.   Survivors include his wife, Clara Bishop of Newton; daughters, Lynn Clark of Wiggins, Lori May of Wiggins, Kim Bynum of Soso, and Kaye Cates of Hernando; son, Franklin McDaniel of Wiggins; 12 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; mother, Doris Bishop of Newton; brother, Jimmy Bishop of Newton; and nephew, James Bishop and family of Vicksburg.
