LLOYD ADCOCK Mr. Bennie Wayne Pope, 83, died Wednesday, March 24, 2010 at The Specialty Hospital of Meridian.   He was born and reared in Neshoba County and made his home in Philadelphia most of his adult life.  He was a retired river boat captain. Mr. Pope was a member of Philadelphia Masonic Lodge.   He served in the U.S. Navy.   Survivors include daughters, Mildred Portia Carter of Denham Springs, LA, Ann Hollingsworth of Lawrence and Becky Cook of Philadelphia; son, John Cook of Philadelphia; 11 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
