COY MILLER Mrs. Bonnie Chisholm Eakes, 92, died Monday, March 15, 2010 at Yalobusha General Hospital in Water Valley.   She was born and reared in Neshoba County.  Mrs. Eakes was a member of Cooks Chapel United Methodist Church.  She was a retired long time employee of Neshoba County General Hospital.   She is survived by daughters, Ellen Eakes Ruthven of Oxford and Sharon Eakes Green of Vicksburg; sons, Dr. Timothy Lawson Eakes, Jr.  of Troy, AL and Fred H. Eakes of Water Valley; 13 grandchildren, Mark Kristen Eakes, Kimberly Michelle Eakes Morrisse, David Lawson Eakes, Benjamin Kelly Eakes, John Thomas Eakes, Jessica Sharon Ruthven, Robert Gillespie Ruthven, Madison Dace Ruthven, David Jonathan Green, Sarah Ellen Green, Rachel Lynn Green, Michelle Green Bittle and Daniel Green; 10 great-grandchildren, Ensley Eakes, Isabel Jean Morrisse, William Timothy Morrisse, Elizabeth August Eakes, Sarah Lawson Eakes, Warren Fredrick Eakes, Patrick Wayson, Taylor Green, MacKenzie Green and Cody Green; and one great-great-grandchild, Emily Wayson.   She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawson Eakes; and her parents, Robert Benjamin Chisholm and Fannie Ellen Randall Chisholm.In lieu of flowers memorials may to made to The Gideons International or Cooks Chapel United Methodist Church.
