MIKE SMITHEY Mr. Wayne Thomas, 62, of Philadelphia, died Wednesday, February 17, 2010 at UAB Hospital in Birmingham, AL. He was born and reared in Neshoba County where he made his home most of his life.  He was a member of Cooks Chapel United Methodist Church and attended East Philadelphia Baptist Church. Mr. Thomas retired from Marshall Ford in 2009. He was preceded in death by his parents, Herbert and Mary Thomas. Survivors include his wife, Janice Laney Thomas of Philadelphia; daughters, Jennifer Gressett and her husband, Brad of Lake, Amy Martin and her husband, Dr. Craig of Philadelphia and Heather Irby and her husband, Joey of Philadelphia; son, Jeremy Thomas and Rose Gaddis of Ridgeland; granddaughters, Meg Martin and Maggie Gressett; grandsons, Taylor Irby, John Robert Irby, Will Martin, Seth Martin, Jackson Wayne Thomas, Max Gressett, and Peyton Irby; and sister, Mary Ann Marshall of Meridian.   Pallbearers will be Jack Seale, Greg Seale, Steve Seale, Scott Marshall, Alan Marshall, Tot Seale, Larry Seale, Gabe Marshall, and Jody Crenshaw.
