CHRIS VOWELLINTERMENT: MORROW CEMETERY Mrs. Edwina Watkins Webb and her husband made many friends through their years of owning the City Market and Grocery in Philadelphia where their business philosophy was "pay as you can". Upon retiring after 34 years in their grocery business, the Webbs devoted their time to their family and cattle farm where they made many memories with their children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Mrs. Webb was an active member of First Baptist Church where she was a member of Hope Sunday School Class and where she volunteered in the preschool department while her children and grandchildren were growing up. She was an active member of the Futura Club where she was selected as Club Woman of the Year for her dedication to the community in which she lived. Mrs. Webb was directly involved in the formation of the Philadelphia Historical Museum where she greatly enjoyed spending her free time. Of all of Mrs. Webb's accomplishments she considered her family her greatest pleasure in life. Survivors include her husband, William Howard (Bill) Webb of Philadelphia; son, Rex Webb and his wife, Becky of Philadelphia; daughter, Linda Gail Bouler and her husband, Buddy of Meridian; grandchildren, Mandy Deweese Fisher of Madison, Kristin Deweese Kirkland of Keller, TX, Rachel Webb Harbarger of Augusta, GA, Miriam Webb of Jackson, and Thomas Webb of Clinton; three great-grandchildren; sister, Jolene Brown of Columbia; and brothers, Wendell Watkins of Philadelphia and Binford Watkins of Ridgeland.
