WAYNE HILL Mr. Buford Middleton, 88, of Philadelphia, died Tuesday, February 2, 2010 at his residence.   He was a native of Steele, Missouri and had been a resident of Philadelphia since 1974 moving here from Clarksdale.  He was retired civil service having worked as claims representative for the Social Security Administration in the Philadelphia office.  He continued to have farming interests in Missouri.  Mr. Middleton attended Trinity Baptist Church in Philadelphia.  He served in the U.S. Coast Guard.   Survivors include his wife, Jackie Middleton of Philadelphia; daughters, Sara Jane "Cookie" Duncan of Meridian and Mary Anne Ashmore of Meridian; sons, Jack Middleton of Meridian and Joe Middleton of Clarksdale; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and brother, Johnny Middleton of Steele, Missouri.
