L. M. (Jack) Skinner

(Jack) Skinner, 94, of Union, died Thursday, January 21, 2010 at Laird Hospital in Union.   He was a native of Neshoba County and a long time resident of the County Line Community.  Mr. Skinner was a retired farmer.  He was a member of Enon Baptist Church where he served as a deacon and Sunday school teacher.   Mr. Skinner was prececed in death by his wife, Claragean Skinner; son-in-law, Terry Moncrief; sister, Theo Skinner; and brothers, James Skinner and Clarence Skinner.   Survivors include daughters, Rebecca Moncrief of Kennesaw, GA, Ruth Burkett and husband, Norvel of Knoxville, TN, and Mary Taylor and husband, Martin of Clinton; son, Louis Skinner and wife, Donna of Union; grandchildren, Jeff Smith, Rhonda Smith, Lori Holifield, Karen Moncrief, Jay Taylor, Matt Skinner, Cathryne Odom, Stacy Turner, Scott Taylor, Steve Taylor, Ben Burkett, Brad Burkett, Tracy Smith, Susan Toney, and Joshua Skinner; 21 great-grandchildren; sister, Odessa Lemon of Union; and brothers, L. R. Skinner and Raymond Skinner both of Union.
