CLIFFORD JINKERSONREV. JOHN FRASIER Mrs. Eliza Ellan Turner, 86, died Sunday, January 3, 2010 at her residence. She was born and reared in Newton County but made her home in Joliet, IL for many years before moving to Neshoba County in 1978.  She was retired from Olin Mathis Chemical Company.  Mrs. Turner was a member of First United Methodist Church in Philadelphia and a member of the Philadelphia Chapter of Eastern Star.   Survivors include a number of nieces and nephews.   Pallbearers:  Tom Ellison, Beau Ellison, Morris Malone, Robby Roncali, Don Fulton and Charles McDaniel.
