M. @ MCCLAIN-HAYS FUNERAL HOME Mrs. Deborah Haigler Yates, 56, of Philadelphia, died Wednesday, December 23, 2009, at her home, after a year long bout with leukemia.   She was born in Pascagoula to Levohn and Tommie Haigler and moved to Philadelphia with her husband, Stan Yates.  There she raised three boys, served as a CPA, and was a member of First Baptist Church, where she was active in the adult choir, handbells, and taught Sunday school.  She offered her time in various capacities to the Crisis Pregnancy Center, Christian Women's Job Corp, and jail ministries.   Survivors include her husband, Stan Yates of Philadelphia; her sons, Jared of Flowood, Jesse of Brandon, and Elliot of Philadelphia; her mother, Tommie Haigler of Pascagoula; her brother, Mark Haigler of Mobile; and her grandchildren, Landrum and Luke Yates of Flowood.   She was preceded in death by her father, Levohn; and her brother, Mike.   In lieu of flowers, she requested that donations be made to the Crisis Pregnancy Center of Philadelphia.
