CHRIS VOWELL                        REV. DENNIS DUVALL Mr. R. P. Davis, 84, of Philadelphia, died Friday, December 18, 2009 at Anderson Regional Medical Center in Meridian.   Mr. Davis was a native of Baldwyn and had been a resident of Neshoba County since 1961.  He retired as transportation manager for Burrage Trucking in Philadelphia.  Mr. Davis was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church.  He was also a member of Neshoba County Shrine Club and was a Mason.  He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict.   Survivors include his wife, Ruby Davis of Philadelphia; daughter, Debbie Davis Files of Philadelphia; sons, Johnnie Ray Davis of Philadelphia and Larry Holland of Laurel; sister, Elsie Wood of Baldwyn; grandchildren, Shaun Davis of Bay Springs, Shannon Davis of Philadelphia, Jeremy Files of Philadelphia, Emily Burks of Philadelphia, and Jesse McKinney of Philadelphia; great-grandchildren, Ashley Davis, Brooke Davis, and Reagen McKinney; great-great-grandchildren, BreLeigh Davis and PazLeigh Davis; and numerous nieces, nephews and their families.
