DAN HOWARDMrs. Margaret Ann Strickland, 66, died Wednesday, November 11, 2009 at her residence.   She was born and reared in Winston County, made her home in Hayward, California for a number of years but had lived in Philadelphia, Mississippi for the past 21 years.  Mrs. Strickland was a member of First Baptist Church in Philadelphia.   Mrs. Strickland was preceded in death by her daughter, Mary Michelle Strickland and a brother, Charles Long.   Survivors include her son, Jerry Michael Strickland of Jackson; one grandchild; sisters, Judy Coward of Noxapater,Jenny Eaves and Barbara Hindman, both of Louisville; brothers; James P. Long and Thomas Long, both of Louisville, Jack Long of Houston, TX, Ronald Long and Donald Long, both of Noxapater.   Pallbearers will be Quay Eaves, Robert Eaves, Rocky Parks, Terry Long, Jeff Long and Billy Long.
