MIKE SKINNERINTERMENT:  OLD PEARL VALLEY CEMETERYMr. Roy Vernon Willis, 89, died Tuesday, October 27, 2009 at MS State Veterans Home in Kosciusko.   He was a native and long time resident of the Arlington community of Neshoba County.  He was a retired farmer.  Mr. Willis was a member of Old Pearl Valley Baptist Church and a member of VFW.  He served in the U.S. Army during WWII and was awarded the Purple Heart and Bronze Star.   He was preceded in death by his wife, Winifred Willis; brothers, Terry, Hughie, and Ethel Willis and sister, Ruby Pearson.   Survivors include sons, Derrell Willis and Harold Willis both of Philadelphia; sister, Mary Tullos of Philadelphia; five grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.   Pallbearers:  Jason Willis, Warren DeWeese, III, Jimmy Reid, Billy Pearson, Willis Tullos, and Clay Willis. In lieu of flowers, memorials made be made to the charity of your choice.
