SERVICES:  SUNDAY              OCTOBER 25, 2009                    2:00 PM           MCCLAIN-HAYS CHAPELVISITATION: SATURDAY            OCTOBER 24, 2009                5:00 - 8:00 PMINTERMENT:  FELLOWSHIP CEMETERYMrs. Dorthy Townsend, 69, died Thursday, October 22, 2009 at Anderson Regional Medical Center in Meridian.   She was a native of Neshoba County and a longtime resident of the Zephyr Hill Community.  She was owner and former operator of Sawmill Cafe on Hwy 16 West.  She had worked for several years prior at Wells-Lamont in Philadelphia.  Mrs. Townsend was Baptist by faith.   She was preceded in death by her husband, Truman Townsend and her son, Rickey Truman Townsend.   Survivors include her daughter, Vickey Sue Smith of Laurel Hill; three sons, Mickey Townsend, Nickey Ray Townsend and Dickey Lee Townsend, all of Philadelphia; 12 grandchildren and their families.
