UNTIL SERVICE TIME Mrs. Seward, 91, of Philadelphia, died Thursday, September 14, 2017, at Atwood Personal Care Home in Philadelphia. She was a native and lifelong resident of Neshoba County and operated Seward’s Department Store with her husband. She loved helping friends with decorating and entertaining and was an outstanding homemaker and mother. Mrs. Seward was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Philadelphia. Survivors include her son, Jeff Seward (Lynn) of Philadelphia; grandchildren, Brooke Thomas of Philadelphia, Keyla Spankovich (Chris) of Jackson, Joey Smith (Miranda) and Jayme Smith (Regina), of Philadelphia; great-grandchildren, Tyler Seward, Hannah Seward, Mason and Keyton Thomas, Kiah Spankovich, Coleman and Christian Smith; niece, Bettie Norie of Portland Oregon and daughter-in-law, Gloria Seward. Mrs. Seward was preceded in death by her husband, O. G. “Buck” Seward; son, Key Seward; grandson, Greg Seward; parents, Ferd and May Crosby; and niece, Susie Linder. In lieu of flowers family requests memorials be made to First Presbyterian Church of Philadelphia, Palmer Home For Children, or a favorite charity.
