White, 63, of Choctaw, died Wednesday, October 7, 2009, at Neshoba County General Hospital. He was a native of Tahlequah, Oklahoma where he attended Sequoyah High School and had been a resident of Neshoba County since 1991. He was serving as veteran coordinator for Miss. Band of Choctaw Indians. He was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Capt. White served in the U.S. Marines during Vietnam and in the U.S. Army during Desert Storm. Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Gloria White of Choctaw; daughters, Michelle White Graham of Picayune, and her husband, Michael of Collinsville, and Sherri White Ferguson of Philadelphia; granddaughter, Brittany Ferguson of Birmingham, AL; step-granddaughter, Justina Graham of Collinsville; step-grandson, Joshua Graham of Collinsville; sisters, Vivian Nesheim of Little Rock, AR, Mary Lou Ballard of Muskogee, OK, and Julia Adams of Oklahoma City, OK; brothers, Douglas Colbert of Denver, CO, and Otho Adams of Oklahoma City, OK; and numerous nieces, nephews, and their families.
