Linda Evans

Linda Evans, 60, of Philadelphia, MS, passed away on Monday, June 19, 2017, at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson, MS from an aneurysm.  She was a former resident of London, Kentucky, but had resided in Neshoba County since 2005. Survivors include two daughters, Shanna Catching of Mississippi and Tara Dale Catching of Kentucky; three grandchildren, Lauren Murphy, Charlie McCullouch, and Lars McCullouch of Mississippi; her companion and best friend, Bobby Seal; his granddaughter, Skylar Wilson of Mississippi; and a host of family and friends residing in Mississippi and Kentucky who mourn her passing. She was preceded in death by her parents, Winfrey Lewis and Betty Shoupe, along with other family members. Lynda was a loving, vibrant person and embraced her daily tasks with determination. The family will honor her wishes and hold a private celebration of her life at a later date. We will seek God’s word for strength and comfort.  In Psalm 139 is a beautiful expression of God’s personal involvement in all our lives, surrounded by his love from the beginning and throughout all our days.  Lynda’s earthly journey is completed, but her love will live on in our hearts.  The family would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for the prayers and expression of love during this time of grief.
