DANNY LANIER Cheryl went home to be with her Savior, Jesus Christ, on Saturday, June 10, 2017, at Anderson Hospital in Meridian.  She was surrounded by her loved ones and is now at peace. She was a native of Neshoba County; a graduate of Kemper Academy, and received her associate degree in lab technology and worked two years as a lab tech. She retired from General Motors after 20 years of service. Cheryl was a member of Antioch Baptist Church. She leaves behind her mother, Jeanetta Rigdon of Little Rock, MS; two daughters, Jessica (Trey) McGuire of Collinsville and Sydney Joyner of Lauderdale; sister, Janet (Carl) Coonce of Pearl, MS; brother, Jimmy (Katherine) Rigdon of Little Rock, MS; grandchildren, Avery McGuire and Brody McGuire; several nieces, nephews and a host of other family and friends. Cheryl was preceded in death by her grandparents, Virgil and Madie Rigdon, Clayton and Ethel Houston; father, Earl Rigdon.
