JERRY BISHOPMIKE MCDOWELLMrs. Pearson, 96, of Clinton, died Tuesday, May 30, 2017, at Baptist Medical Center in Jackson.She was born in Leake County and moved to the Bethsaida community in Neshoba County during the depression.  She was a resident of Clinton for the past 17 years.Survivors include her daughter, Jane Dreher (Ken) of Clinton; sons, Stephen Pearson (Faye) of Marietta, GA, Keith Pearson (Suzanne) of Gulfport; grandchildren, Mike McDowell (Shannon), Janine Morgan (Jim), Brad Dreher, Adrian Dreher and Stephen Pearson, Jr. (Jennifer); seven great-grandchildren; sisters, Mauvene Thomas and Estelle Fowler, both of Philadelphia, and Alice Todd of Lena; brothers, Rev. Kermit Sharp of Philadelphia, Irvin Sharp of Meridian and Bob Sharp of Philadelphia; numerous nieces, nephews and their families. Mrs. Pearson was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Pearson; brother, Richard Sharp; and sister, Freda Goodman.Pallbearers are Jim Morgan, Hunter Bell, Ryan Bell, Logan McDowell, T. J. Tapley, Brad Dreher and Mike McDowell. In lieu of flowers family request memorials be made to Bethsaida Cemetery Fund, or St. Jude Hospital.
