Nola Thrash

Services for Nola Thrash will be held Sunday, May 28, 2017, at 3 p.m. from McClain-Hays Funeral Home Chapel in Philadelphia, MS with Rev. Wesley Lovern and Rev. Danny Chaney officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Olive Cemetery (Stephenstown) of Neshoba County. McClain-Hays Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Thrash,70, of Union, MS, died Saturday, May 27, 2017, at J. G. Alexander Nursing Home in Union. She was a native of the Stephenstown community of Neshoba County but had lived in Sebastopol for over 50 years. Mrs. Thrash was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church (Stephenstown). Survivors include her sisters, Josephine Ishee of Sebastopol, Julia (Edward) Willis of Union and Elois (Bob) Gamel of Collinsville; brother, John W. (Linda) Cutrer Jr. of Philadelphia; and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Jack Thrash; parents, John and Hettie Ruth Cutrer; sister, Pauline Shoffner and brother, James H. Cutrer. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be made to: The Gideons International. Visitation will be held Sunday, May 28, 2017, from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m., at McClain-Hays Funeral Home.
