BILL BOYKIN Mr. Gilmer, 68, of Philadelphia, died Friday, May 19, 2017, at his residence. He was a native and lifelong resident of Neshoba County.  He worked for International Paper Company for several years; then worKed and retired from Mississippi Department of Transportation.  Mr. Gilmer was Baptist by faith.  He served with the U. S. Army during the Vietnam Conflict. Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Iva Jean Gilmer of Philadelphia; son, David (Kimsi) Gilmer of Vancouver, WA; daughter, Jamie (Billy)  Bullock of Clinton; grandchildren, Jaiden Gilmer, Ryan (Madison) Goss, Noah Bullock, Walker Bullock; great-grandchild, Norah Goss; sister, Tommie (Harvey) Cleveland of Conehatta; brother, R. L. (Ginger) Gilmer of Quitman; several nieces and nephews. Mr. Gilmer was preceded in death by his parents, James and Claudine Gilmer.
