Rivers Breazeale

Mrs. Breazeale, 88, of Philadelphia, died Wednesday, September 2, 2009 at Neshoba County Nursing Home.  Services were held Saturday, September 5, 2009 from McClain-Hays Chapel with burial in Cedarlawn Cemetery. Dr. Wayne Burkes and Rev. Chris Vowell officiated. She was born in Leake County and made her home in Neshoba County most of her life. After working for Williams Brothers for many years she served Neshoba County for eight years as tax assessor and served on the board of trustees for East Central Community College. Mrs. Breazeale was preceded in death by husband, Wilson Breazeale; brother, Pete Mundy, and parents, Pat and Nell Mundy. She is survived by son, Mundy and wife, Carol of Philadelphia; grandchildren, Rita Gaines and husband, Keith of Philadelphia, Scott Breazeale of Ocean Springs, Patrick Breazeale and wife, Yvette of Hurley and Jill Lindsay of Purcellville, VA; six great-grandchildren, Julie, Kenzie, Joshua and Joshua, Jakob and Kayleigh; sister, Jimmie Salter of Philadelphia; niece, Susan Burt of Philadelphia; and nephew, Stanley Salter of Philadelphia. Pallbearers:  Keith Gaines, Joshua Gaines, Scott Breazeale, Patrick Breazeale, Roy White, and William Hamill, Honorary pallbearer, Stanley Salter.
