SHELDON FOXREV. RICKY ALDRIDGE Mr. Chesney, 70, of House Community of Neshoba County, died Saturday, April 15, 2017, at Laird Hospital in Union. He was a native and lifelong resident of House Community and a member for 53 years of Smith’s Chapel Church of God of Prophecy. He was employed with Neshoba County for 25 years as a truck driver and worked as a carpenter with Collinsville Woodworking Company. Mr. Chesney took great pride in music, singing, and playing guitar for church and community. Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Mary Chesney of House; sons, Kevin (Vicky) Chesney of House, Allen (Kellie) Chesney of House, Stanley Chesney and Johnny Chesney of House; brothers, Blaine Chesney of Newton and Ricky Chesney of Union; and a host of nieces, nephews and their families. Mr. Chesney was preceded in death by his father, Ray Oliver Chesney; mother, Prudie Estelle (Miller) Chesney; three brothers, Jimmy, Jerome and Ellis Ray, all of house; four sisters, Ida Pearl and Edna Earl of House, and Betty L. Frazier and Faye Davidson of Kosciusko.
