CURT PACEMrs. Clark, 76, of Decatur, died Sunday, January 29, 2017, at her home. She was born in Greensburg, PA, and grew up in Kent, OH.  She married Harold Clark in May of 1961 and moved to Portland, Oregon, where she started her career as a librarian at Western Seminary. She later moved to Sandusky, Ohio, where her husband worked as a chaplain at Ohio Soldier’s and Sailor’s Home. For two years she and her husband lived in Norfolk, VA, where they started raising two boys. They then moved and lived in Memphis, Tennessee for 20 years while she served as her husband’s secretary, who was a professor at Mid South Bible College, and raised their two children. Mrs. Clark and her husband moved to Clay County, Mississippi in 1986, where she volunteered at the Hebron Baptist Church and helped with the pre-school aged children. Since 1991 she made her home in Noxapater for the past 26 years and only recently moved to Decatur. Survivors include her husband of 56 years, Harold Myron Clark of Decatur; sons, James Allen Clark and his wife, Maria of Seattle, WA, and Ben Allen Clark and his wife, Marija of Athens, Greece; two grandchildren, Bianca Clark and Alec Clark, both of Athens, Greece; sisters, Mary Sprague and her husband, Jim of Galion, OH, and Ruth Chibis and her husband, Mark of Hallandale, FL; brother, Galen Wiley and his wife, Elsie of Lancaster, PA; and a host of nieces and nephews. Mrs. Clark was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph Emerson and Dorotha Mae (Wadsworth) Wiley; and a brother, David Wiley.Pallbearers were Billy Sharp, Max Loper, Bill Gilley, Willie Jackson, Johnny Peebles and Dr. Dan Howard.
