CURT PACE Mrs. Janie Donald Roland, 75, of Jackson, MS, died Thursday, November 24, 2016, at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson, MS. A native of Neshoba County, she lived in Holly Ridge, LA, the early part of her life, and then moved and lived in Hinds and Rankin counties for the past 57 years.  Mrs. Roland was a member of Pearson Road Baptist Church in Pearl.   Survivors include her husband, Willie Jimmy  Roland of Pearl; two sons, Sean Roland of Jackson and Jimmy Roland (Lana) of Louisville ; four grandchildren, Cody Roland (Elizabeth), Kristen Roland (Nathan Fulce), Larry Roland and Jessie Roland; great-grandson, Logan Fulce; sisters, Inez Smith (Stanley) of Ridgeland and Linda Thompson of Brandon; brother-in-law, Tommy Roland of Pearl; sisters-in-law, Virginia Garver of Brandon and Thelma Williamson of McGee; and a host of nieces and nephews.  Mrs. Roland was preceded in death by her parents, Eddie Lee “Jack” and Maxine Donald.Pallbearers were Chad Byers, Ray Thorton, Lee Nordin, Larry Roland, Cody Roland, Jonah Mohon, Randy Smith and Johnny Roland.
