SCOTT BOATNER Mrs. Boatner, 88, of Plattsburg, died Wednesday, November 9, 2016, at Winston County Nursing Home in Louisville.  She was a native and longtime resident of Plattsburg Community. She loved to fish and garden, but loved her family the most, especially her grandchildren.  Mrs. Boatner was a member of Plattsburg Baptist Church. Survivors include two sons, Martin Boatner and his wife, Johnnie of Louisville and Don Boatner of Philadelphia; seven grandchildren, Gary Boatner and his wife, Angie, Richard Boatner and his wife, Lynn, Donny Boatner and his wife, Stacey, Casey Boatner, Lenny Boatner and his wife, Lesley, all of Louisville; Bobby Lloyd and his wife, Sheila of Noxapater and Chelsey Mayo and her husband, Lamar of Ackerman; 16 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Audine Garrad of Carthage; and numerous nieces, nephews and their families. Mrs. Boatner was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Boatner; one daughter, Bertha Lloyd; her parents, David and Lula Mangrum Manning; six sisters; and two brothers. Pallbearers were Gary Boatner, Richard Boatner, Bobby Lloyd, Donny Boatner, Casey Boatner, Lenny Boatner, Lamar Mayo and Robby Lloyd.
