LAWRENCE POOL Mrs. Eakes, 61, of Philadelphia MS, died Saturday, October 1, 2016, at her residence. She was a native and lifelong resident of Neshoba County and a longtime resident of the Longino community.  She worked as a registered nurse for Sta-Home Health Agency.  Mrs. Eakes was a member of Longino Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, Richard Eakes of Philadelphia; two daughters, Jacki Miller (Ryan) of Madison and Jessica Knight (Clint) of Philadelphia; four grandchildren, Tyson and Conner Miller, and Riley and Presley Knight; sisters, Sherri Vance (Glenn) of Union and Patsy Carver (Jim) of Greenville; numerous nieces, nephews, and their families. Mrs. Eakes was preceded in death by her parents,  Milford and Charlotte Lundy.Pallbearers were Darrell Fulton, Patrick Carver, Jim Eakes, Joe Tullos, Joseph Allen, Clint Knight, Ryan Miller and Earnest Eakes.
