BYRON HOWELL Mrs. Pilgrim, 93, of Neshoba, died Monday, August 22, 2016, at Baptist Medical Center Leake in Carthage. She was a native of Neshoba County and longtime resident of Neshoba Community of Neshoba County.  She retired from Midland Shirt Factory in Union, MS.  Mrs. Pilgrim was a member of Neshoba Baptist Church where she was active for years in choir and WMU.  She was a former member of Neshoba Development Club.  Survivors include her sons, Robert A. Pilgrim (Sherry) of Madison, MS; Dwight Pilgrim (Janis) of Union, MS; daughter-in-law, Carole Pilgrim of Wiggins; five grandchildren, Robert Pilgrim, Jr., Gaile Dupree, Leanne Hollingsworth, Joey Pilgrim and Todd Pilgrim; eight great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; sisters, Marcella Cannon of Ridgeland, MS; Omie Carter of Pearl, MS; and numerous nieces, nephews and their families.  Mrs. Pilgrim was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Pilgrim; son, W. L. “Wimpy” Pilgrim; three sisters; and a brother. Pallbearers were Robert Pilgrim, Todd Pilgrim, Joey Pilgrim, Ty Pilgrim, Mason Pilgrim, Tyler Hollingsworth, Zach Hollingsworth and David Hollingsworth. In lieu of flowers family requests memorials be made to Neshoba Baptist Cemetery Fund.
