Jones, 75, of Philadelphia, died Thursday, May 26, 2016, at Neshoba County General Hospital. He was a native and lifelong resident of Neshoba County. Mr. Jones owned and operated Range Avenue Store for many years, and served as Neshoba County Justice of the Peace District 2 from 1976 until 1980. He was a member of Sandtown United Methodist Church. Survivors include daughters, Nan Goodin (Ricky) of Philadelphia and LeeAnn Jayroe of Philadelphia; grandchildren, Jonathan Goodin, Jason Goodin, Dustin Goodin, Alana Thomas (Dylan), Natalie Goodin and Will Jayroe; sister, Shirley Little (Ron) of Brandon; brothers, Calvin Jones (Delores) of Milton, NY, Jerry Jones of Berlin, MD, and Bobby Jones (Judy) of Jackson; and a host of nieces and nephews. Mr. Jones was preceded in death by his wife, Lois Coats Jones; one grandson, Trevor Jayroe; sisters, Christine Presley, Kathleen Brantley and Martha Murphy; and brother, Mitch Jones.
