WAYNE HILL Mrs. Eschol Lewis, 101, of Philadelphia, passed away surrounded by family Tuesday, April 26, 2016 at Neshoba County Nursing Home. She made her home in Neshoba County most of her life. She was a former employee of Midland Shirt Factory in Union, and Sales Clerk at Morgan and Lindsey Retail Store and retired from TWL Store. She loved her family, flowers and cooking. She was known for her homemade cakes and cookies. Mrs. Lewis was a member of Beacon Street Baptist Church. Survivors include her daughter, Nell Cheatham of Philadelphia; grandchildren, Robbie Cheatham and wife Pam, Kevin Cheatham and wife Jackie, and Reina Coats and husband Benjie all of Philadelphia; granddaughter-in-law Song Smith of Mariposa, California; great-grandchildren, Ross Cheatham and his wife Jessica of Philadelphia, Ben Cheatham and his wife Kate of Tuscaloosa, Alabama, Caroline Cheatham of Philadelphia, Ian and Shawn Smith of Mariposa California; daughter-in-law, Sue Lewis of Philadelphia, and a host of nieces and nephews. Mrs. Lewis was preceded in death by her parents, C. W. and Talitha Cannon, seven brothers, Bruner Cannon, Zean Cannon, Press Cannon, Earnest Cannon, Maver Cannon, Reagan Cannon, and John Cannon; one sister, Lessie Cannon Mobley; son, Rex Lewis; son-in-law, Creed Cheatham; grandsons, Phillip Mark Smith, Rexford George Lewis, Jr., and Rexford Jason Lewis. Pallbearers are Tim Breland, Randy Cheatham, Mack Jones, Harold Richardson Steve Wilkerson and Michael Watkins.
