JACKIE STREBECK Mrs. Evelyn Jeanette Page Sheppard, 78, of Philadelphia, MS, died Sunday, April 24, 2016, at Neshoba County General Hospital in Philadelphia. She was born in Newton County, lived in Neshoba County most of her life and had made her home in Philadelphia for the past 10 years.  Mrs. Sheppard was a member of Trinity Baptist Church in Philadelphia. Survivors include her daughter, Sylvia “Phebie” Hunter (Floyd) of Philadelphia; son, Grady Scarbrough (Betty) of Collinsville; stepson, Joe Sheppard of Columbus; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; sisters, Lois Dennison of Little Rock, Quanell Chesney and Lexie Dean, both of Chunky; brothers, Albert Archie of Madison and Rev. T. J. Archie of Decatur.Pallbearers were Harold Boler, Larry Chesney, George Dean, Rob DeLoach, Chris Boler and Michael Scarbrough.
