KEVIN VAUGHNMr. Warren, 85, of Philadelphia, died Tuesday, April 19, 2016, at Neshoba County General Hospital. He was a native and lifelong resident of the Bloomo community in Neshoba County. He worked for 46 years in numerous positions for Wells Lamont Corporation, retiring as operations manager. Mr. Warren was a member of Ocobla Baptist Church where he had served as church clerk for a number of years. He was an avid fisherman and tied his own crappie jigs, which he gladly shared with many. He never met a stranger and was known widely for his sense of humor. Survivors include his wife, Dorothy “Dot” Warren of Philadelphia; son, Kent Warren (Connie) of Philadelphia; grandchildren, Holly Thompson (Lee) of Philadelphia and Ben Warren (Tori) of Philadelphia; great-grandchildren, Caden Rushing, Caleb Thompson and Emma Breazeale; sister, Brenda Jenkins (Ralph) of Philadelphia; and numerous nieces, nephews and their families. Mr. Warren was preceded in death by his parents, Ben and Mamie Warren; and brother, Mickey Warren.Pallbearers were Lee Thompson, Ben Warren, Caden Rushing, Caleb Thompson, Warren Jenkins, Pierce Clark, Chris Long and Kinsey Smith.
