Killen, 90, of Union, died Wednesday, April 6, 2016, at his home. He was a native and longtime resident of Neshoba County.  He was a veteran of WWII where he received the Purple Heart.  Rev. Killen served in the ministry for most of his life at various churches, and after retirement he enjoyed gardening.  He was a member of Prospect Congregational Methodist Church in Collinsville. Survivors include his son, Clifton N. Killen of Union; grandchildren, Cassandra Gibbs (Tim) of Union, Robert Killen of Union and Paul Killen (Kim) of Louisville; great-grandchildren, Paige Holsen, Tori Holsen, Dustin Gibbs (Hailey), Jason Gibbs, Morgan Orr and Denton Orr; great-great-grandchild, Margo Holsen; sisters, Jewel Warren of Philadelphia and Hazel Gray of Philadelphia; brothers, Sennett Killen of Philadelphia and Willis Ray Killen of Philadelphia; and a host of nieces and nephews. Rev. Killen was preceded in death by his wife of 68 years, Viva Killen; sister, Bonnie McMullen; and brothers, Edward Killen and Charlie Killen.Pallbearers were Kenneth Ellingburg, Jerry Beckham, Nolen Stokes, Grady Pierce, James Earl Cockerham and Kenny Joe Bankston.  Honorary pallbearers were Rev. Carl Stephens and Rev. Buddy Covington.
