(Sonny) Montgomery VA Medical Center in Jackson. He was born and reared in Philadelphia.  He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. Survivors include his sister, Doris Slaughter of Madison and numerous nieces, nephews and their families. Mr. Kilgore was preceded in death by his parents, Jim and Elnora Sisson Kilgore and nine siblings.Pallbearers were  Stan Slaughter, Gene Slaughter, Kent Slaughter, Don Kilgore, Steve Kilgore and Brian Kilgore.
