JOHNNY PEDEN Mrs. Tommie Edna Copeland Ruthvens, 78, of Philadelphia, died Monday, March 21, 2016, at Methodist Germantown Hospital in Germantown, Tennessee. She was born and reared in Neshoba County where she made her home most of her life. She retired from the Mississippi State Department of Health as a registered nurse. Mrs. Ruthvens was a member of North Bend United Pentecostal Church. Survivors include her son, Mark Ruthvens of Philadelphia; sister, Charlotte Burton of Philadelphia; and brothers, Larry Copeland (Jimmie) of Meridian and Stanley Copeland (Kathy) of Nesbit. Mrs. Ruthvens was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Ruthvens; son, Christopher Ruthvens; parents, Ed and Flossie Copeland; and brothers, Rodney Copeland and Raybon Copeland. Pallbearers are Ronald Joe Copeland, Keith Copeland, Stacy Copeland, Josh Copeland, Rusty Benson and Shawn Burton.
